Saturday nights at Yoga Lab: Yoga Sculpt + Reiki
Saturday Night Yoga Sculpt + Reiki🌙
Move with intention. Recover with energy. End your week feeling completely renewed. ✨
Introducing Saturday Night Yoga Sculpt + Reiki, an all-new offering at Yoga Lab that brings together the empowering energy of Yoga Sculpt with the restorative healing of Reiki. Led by Iliana, this unique class is designed to help you build strength, reconnect with your body, and leave feeling balanced from the inside out.
The first 60 minutes are dedicated to an energizing Yoga Sculpt practice that combines yoga, strength training, and functional movement to challenge your body, elevate your heart rate, and build confidence. As the class comes to a close, you'll transition into 15 minutes of Reiki, allowing your nervous system to soften while receiving gentle energy healing to promote relaxation, restoration, and emotional well-being.
Iliana's approach is rooted in both science and spirituality. With a background in Kinesiology, running, and strength training, she discovered Reiki as a powerful way to complement physical movement with intentional energy work. Her classes create a welcoming space where strength meets stillness, helping students cultivate resilience, trust, and a deeper connection to themselves.
Whether you're looking for an invigorating workout, a mindful reset, or a new way to experience Yoga Sculpt, this class offers the best of both worlds.
✨ As part of our September Showcase Month, this class is completely FREE to attend throughout September. It's the perfect opportunity to experience this brand-new offering, meet Iliana, and discover how movement and energy healing can work together to support your overall well-being.
Come move, release, restore, and step into your weekend feeling stronger, lighter, and more connected. We can't wait to practice with you. 💛

September’s Sound Journey
🍂 Let It Fall Away: Fall Equinox Sound Journey
As we move from summer into autumn, nature reminds us that there is beauty in slowing down, releasing, and making space for something new. Join Yoga Lab for a special Fall Equinox Sound Journey, an immersive evening created to help you pause, reset, and reconnect with yourself as we welcome the changing season.
The Fall Equinox marks a moment of balance—a time to reflect on what you've cultivated, acknowledge what you're ready to release, and set meaningful intentions for the season ahead. This experience invites you to step away from the busyness of everyday life and create intentional space for rest, reflection, and renewal.
✨ What to Expect
Your journey will begin with a guided meditation designed to quiet the mind and bring your awareness inward. From there, you'll be guided through intention setting, creating space to reflect on what you want to carry with you into the new season—and what you're ready to leave behind.
You'll then settle into an immersive sound bath, surrounded by the soothing vibrations of healing instruments and sound. Allow the sounds and frequencies to wash over you as your body relaxes and your mind becomes still. This is your opportunity to simply receive, breathe, and be present.
Whether you're looking to release stress, reconnect with your intentions, or simply give yourself an hour of deep rest, this experience offers a beautiful way to honor the transition into autumn.
Let your tension fall away.
Release what no longer serves you.
Make space for what comes next.

MEet the fACILITATORS:
Vanessa Romero
Vanessa Romero is the inspiring founder of Soul Sanctuary, a collaborative vision with her co-creator, Katherine Wolff. Raised in San Diego, Vanessa’s journey has been shaped by resilience and transformation. Despite facing significant challenges, including the loss of her mother to addiction and experiences of trauma in her childhood, Vanessa has emerged as a beacon of hope and healing. From a young age, she cultivated a successful career as a hairstylist, starting at just 19 years old.
During this time, Vanessa also embarked on a powerful journey of self-discovery and healing, ultimately overcoming her own struggles with addiction. For the past decade, she has deepened her spiritual practice, becoming a certified Reiki practitioner four years ago. Vanessa is passionately dedicated to facilitating and empowering individuals on their paths to self-healing.
She believes in the importance of personalized approaches, guiding others to discover meditation practices that resonate with them and support their unique journeys.
For Vanessa, healing is a lifelong commitment and a profound journey rooted in the ultimate love of self and others. Her compassionate approach and commitment to transformation inspire those around her at Soul Sanctuary, as she helps individuals unlock their true potential and embrace their own practices of growth and renewal.
Alika Yarnell
The first time Alika was bathed in vibrations from a gong bath, her mind was transported to another dimension. Or that’s what it felt like. From then on, she was hooked on the other-worldly sounds from these high-vibe instruments. To further her practice, she earned her certifications in Sound Healing, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra.
With a passion for the arts, Alika discovered sound baths help promote the grounding and clearing often needed when fostering creative projects—sometimes even providing new ideas and insights. She aims to share her growing collection of sound-healing tools to help others garner the wellness they seek: from deep relaxation to spiritual awakenings to creative ideas to emotional balancing and more.
In addition to sound healing and yoga, Alika can be found writing novels, volunteering at school book fairs, adding to her collections of mini perfume bottles and Pop Mart figurines, or hanging out with her family of three daughters, husband, and Boston Terrier.
Izzy Atkinson
Izzy Atkinson is a Pyramid Breath Method facilitator, trauma-informed coach, and space holder.
Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Izzy moved to California in the late summer of 2024. Izzy comes from a background in corporate America, focused on leadership development and project management, alongside over a decade in fitness and movement. She also served as President of The Soul Project, a nonprofit in Boston supporting women and young girls, and has spent the last 10 years holding space for others, much of that work centered on supporting women navigating eating disorder recovery, body image challenges, and mental health struggles.
Izzy’s journey into breathwork emerged through her own healing - after years of facilitating mental health meetups in Boston and deepening her work as a coach, she began to peel back layers of her own lived experience through grief, transition, trauma, and change. It was through this process that she first experienced the power of breathwork in her own body - as a way to regulate the nervous system, process emotions, and return to a felt sense of safety within herself.
During her transition to California, Izzy completed her breathwork teacher training - a period that coincided with one of the most challenging chapters of her life to date. Breathwork became a consistent practice of support and grounding as she moved through profound grief, heartbreak, and transformation, ultimately deepening her devotion to the work.
Today, she is dedicated to holding intentional, trauma-informed space for others to do the same. Her facilitation is also shaped by her creative work, including immersive breathwork experiences that integrate music, sound, and visualizations.
Alongside breathwork, Izzy is a creative director, artist, model, and podcast host, with a lifelong devotion to expression, storytelling, and human connection.
At the heart of her work is a commitment to helping others reconnect to their authenticity, and feel safe enough to fully express who they are.
